welcome to our new site. it's called "foals"--named after the band named foals. that's us. imaginative, no? we might come up with a decent name for it in the future. something like "holes" or … okay, no, you see the problem. generally it is a work in progress. there's some colour… and things. some sounds. a new forum. we'll be updating the blog more often than we have been on myspace recently, so check back here regularly to find out what we've been eating for breakfast--or whatever it is that musicians are supposed to blog about.
in the music section you can listen to 1 minute clips of all the old tracks from antidotes and the singles around it--or log in to the members area for full length streams. the gallery has the latest band photos and press shots as well as all the old videos--and it will updated more extensively soon.

this saturday gone we filmed the video for the first proper single from the new rekkid. it was, i think, the smoothest and least stressful shoot that we've been involved in so far. there was even time for an hour long lunch break, apparently because some of the technical crew were members of a union--a step towards what i can only assume is some kind of tasty socialist utopia, where everyone enjoys meatfree meatballs ("balls") and actually gets paid for the 16-hour days they work.
anyway, in the time-honoured tradition of talking about these sorts of things without letting you know anything about them, i can let you know that there were: some trees, some clouds, and some leads. big.
our uk tour has gone on sale. some of the shows are already sold out, but some aren't… and you can check that out here. we're practicing pretty relentlessly at the moment… you know, like… to play them. mostly in a field in the middle of oxfordshire. some of the cloud formations have been really spectacular. mm-hmm.
