Hey everybody!
it's been a while...
we just got back from 5 1/2 weeks of tour in the big ol' USofA. its great to be home even if just for three rainy days: long enough to wash clothes, hair and remember who we are before our UK tour starts this thursday. we're really really excited to be playing in the motherland again. most shows are sold out but there are still a few tickets HERE . it's gonna be killer.
for those of you who pre-date our newfound and etheric Superstardom here is an oldschool +/- blog. y'know just a roundup of some recent happenings in pieces of meal. pre digested for the 21st century brain.
+ Christian bbq and aligator skin in Florida.
- getting busted for 3am hotel jacuzzi antics in LA.
+ Mexican love.
more than we could have ever expected!
- Edwin's laptop getting stolen after only 4 weeks of (exhaustive) usage.
+ Larry the best streetdrummer in Detroit, or anywhere for that matter. wild eyed, banging two plastic bins surrounded by the eyeless burnt-out tenement blocks of a once blooming economy.
+ getting to watch Esben and the Witch every night. beautiful band and beautiful people.
- eating in the USA. eating in the USA. eating in the USA. we're gonna put the Pillsbury Dough Boy out of a job.
+ Black Dragon Canyon.
- the endless van cramp leading to us watching the whole of band of brothers in, like, 2 days. and then stretching our legs like this:

- bruises all over my body every night.
+ getting high with policemen, my new favourite pastime.
+ stage invasions in NY and Vancouver. it's been awhile.
+ & every show every where. all the awesome people we met.

- then having to play crack-a-sparrow early the next morning. Singing in the morning is probably my least favourite thing unless it's accompanied by a loofah and a shower.
